Invisible Shield® Glass Coatings – The “Easy Clean” Marine Glass Solution “That Beats All Elements”.

The Challenge of Marine Glass Maintenance

Boats, motor yachts, cruise ships, naval fleets, and offshore vessels face some of the most demanding glass maintenance conditions on earth. Constant exposure to salt spray, oxidation, humidity, minerals, and harsh weather quickly degrades unprotected glass surfaces — reducing visibility, increasing maintenance costs, and accelerating surface wear.

Maintaining marine glass often requires large cleaning crews, elevated platforms, robotic cleaning equipment, heavy chemical usage, frequent freshwater rinsing, and continuous restoration cycles. For large vessels exceeding 50,000+ square meters of glass, this becomes a major operational expense.

The Invisible Shield® Marine Protection System

Unelko’s Nano-Scale Invisible Shield®, Invisible Shield® PRO 15, and REPEL® Cleaner & Repellent create a durable molecular barrier that protects marine glass and surfaces from salt and salinity buildup, mineral deposits, oxidation and corrosion, water spotting, environmental staining, and surface degradation.

These coatings are ideal for bridge and cockpit glass, exterior windows and curtain walls, balustrades and railings, skylights and atriums, glass partitions, shower doors and mirrors, deck enclosures, observation areas, elevator glass, and interior and exterior glazing.

Reduce Cleaning Costs and Improve ROI

Invisible Shield® dramatically reduces cleaning frequency, labor hours, chemical consumption, equipment use, restoration cycles, and surface replacement costs. This delivers exceptional return on investment across fleets and marine facilities.

Proven in the Marine Industry

Invisible Shield® coatings are trusted by major marine operators including Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line, as well as leading glass manufacturers including AGC, Saint-Gobain, Vitro, Oldcastle, and Guardian.

Repel Glass & Surface Cleaner + Repellant Bottle

Repel® Glass & Surface Cleaner

It is not recommended to use any harsh chemicals or abrasives of any kind on protected glass. Unelko recommends the use of its famous, Repel® Glass & Surface Cleaner to clean and care for the glass protection overtime.

Glass Restoration for Existing Glass

Although a vast amount of the existing glass worldwide has already been permanently stained, etched, damaged or obscured, all is not lost! The Invisible Shield Coatings will stop the degradation and corrosion of existing, unprotected glass in the field. It can turn costly, hard to maintain glass into better looking, protected, easier to maintain glass.

Unelko manufactures a number of products to pre-clean and restore glass. The products are highly efficacious and provide an effective cleaning system to remove stains before applying the Invisible Shield protection.
